Duties	To run a highly competitive women’s soccer and lacrosse program, recognized nationally both athletically and academically, consistent with the student-athlete philosophy of Division III, which generates College and community enthusiasm and support. To teach core health and physical education classes, especially those courses which emphasize international aspects of HPE, under the direct supervision of the chair of HPE and advise majors in the department. The head women’s soccer and lacrosse coach must be able to independently organize training, competition, recruiting, events, travel, personnel, and budget for maximum efficiency of the programs. They also must have the creativity, organizational, recruiting and marketing skills to develop a new sport program (lacrosse). The teacher-coach must also be able to teach and advise students and encourage students and student-athletes to reach their full academic and athletic potential.
Experience Required	Master’s degree required in physical education, sports and leisure management, exercise physiology/science or athletic training. Experience: Three years of experience as a successful division III soccer head or assistant coach (full or part time). One year of experience as a collegiate lacrosse coach and/or player. Successful record of recruiting college student athletes. License: Valid driver’s license is required
